This is the current full list of in game rules that apply when you play the server.

These rules are non-conclusive and may be updated at any time! Please make sure to check back frequently.

Communication:

Soltide tries to create a fun and safe space for everyone, and thus please make sure to follow our communication rules in all of your interactions, whether it be through chat, signs, books, or voice chat.

  • Disrespecting players is disallowed.

  • The use of slurs / discriminatory language is disallowed

  • Spamming is disallowed

    • Spamming is considered to be any communication deemed as annoying. Repeated messages (3+ Times), text blocks, copy pastas, or other forms of communication intentionally used to annoy or harass other players is disallowed

  • Advertising is disallowed.

    • You may advertise a stream (YouTube / Twitch) on the server with permission from a staff member.

  • Facilitating illegal activity is disallowed.

  • Discussion of controversial topics is disallowed.

  • Discussion of NSFW / LEWD topics is disallowed.

Voice Chat Specific Rules:

Failure to comply with these rules will result in permanent removal of access to the voice chat system! The communication rules also apply within voice chats.

  • Loud / Obnoxious noises are disallowed.

  • Soundboards are disallowed.

Client Modifications:

All modifications that give you a notable unfair advantage over other players is disallowed, and this list is non-conclusive. Unsure if a certain mod is disallowed? Reach out to us on Discord.

Allowed Modifications:

  • Full bright

  • Zoom Mod

  • Mini Maps that do not display entities, players, or underground structures

  • Most quality of life mods

Allowed Clients:

This section only applies to you if you use a non-vanilla client.

  • Lunar Client

  • Feather Client

  • Bad lion client

Banned Client Modifications:

  • Hack clients

    • Common examples include: Wurst, Liquid Bounce, and Meteor

  • Macros / Auto Mine

    • All forms of automated inputs is disallowed!

  • X-Ray / Ore Finder / ESP / Base Finder.

    • Any modification that allows you to see blocks otherwise not viewable is disallowed.

Game-Play:

  • Do not farm / spam kill players.

  • Do not use alternate accounts.

    • In certain situations you may request authorization from a staff member to use them. If you need this, please make a ticket.

  • Do not attempt to lag / crash the server.

  • Do not abuse bugs.

  • Do not create farms that use an excessive amount of entities.

    • If your farm uses more than 300 entities you may be asked to limit it or your farm may be removed.

Account Customization:

  • Accounts with NSFW or controversial usernames / skins will be blocked from the server.

Safety & Legal:

While Soltide is a server in a game, real life laws still apply! Make sure you follow all local laws when playing.

It is against the law and rules to DDoS the server. Doing so will result in a blacklist and a report to the relevant authorities .

It is against the law and rules to threaten to

  • Dox a person

  • DDoS a person

  • Sexually harass a person

  • Threaten the safety of a person

A ban for any of the above reasons will be reported to authorities and CANNOT be appealed.
